Member of the Russian cinema directors Guild, he was born in 1973, studied at the Gorky’s Literature institute (poetry department) and A.N. Gerasimov’s and A.M. Dobrovolskyj’s workshop at the Higher courses for script writers and film directors, majoring in Feature and documentary director. His work “Amateur video” won the award of the first SHORTs festival in the Best direcot and Best female lead nominations. In the New technologies presented at the Media Forum 2008 Groznov shows ambivalently the relations between the Artist and the common crowd.
