The white line (2008, Russia) - 3`20``
The Bombily art group is one of the most radical Moscow unions of young artists. Together with the Vojna group they form the Professional union of street art – an organization which is responsible for some of the most scandalous and radical of recent actions.
In may 2007 the artists carried out an action similar to a guarding ritual form Gogol’s “Vij” – to clear Russia of the evil spirits based in the city centre the participants drew a line with chalk between the sacred and profane space along Sadovoe circle. Gathering at the B2 club two streams of artists began to draw the line in different directions and closed the circle meeting at the Krymskyj Val. The unseen magic wall, created that day between Russia and Moscow, guards the humanity since form the capital’s evil.
