Martin John Callanan is a European researcher and artist. In his work he explores problems of nationality in the world of global communications, turning to the concepts of information, data and knowledge as such. In «Eleven» we start to distinguish lesser objects on the surface of the globe – its relief, the puncture lines of frontiers, cities, houses and beaches on both sides of the Atlantics, the Great Lakes and the south of England. They can only be seen at the same time from a great height, and to discern them one has to be much closer.
